Lived experience training videos

Practitioners across education, health and social care told us that they would like more information and understanding of what life is like for families of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), and what it is like for children and families using their services. Families agreed that this would be beneficial, as they said the  impact on their day to day lives of the services they use is rarely seen by practitioners once the family has left the service or setting. 

To help with this, a series of training videos has been co-produced with young people and their parents and carers. You can access the first videos in this training series using the links below.
