Who are the Physical and Medical Needs Service?
The Physical and Medical Needs Service work with children and young people, aged 5 to 25 years, in mainstream schools. Their work helps children and young people with physical and medical needs to flourish, be happy, included and achieve.
They offer high quality and timely support and advice about a range of physical needs and medical conditions. Referrals come from schools or health professionals such as the Children's Occupational Therapy Service or the Children's Physiotherapy Service.
