The purpose of the guidance is to ensure clarity and transparency about the process for agreeing placements. Identifying resources required over £6,000 to provide support in further education, for young people aged 16 to 25 years, with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Working with schools that children in care are attending to enable them to reach their full educational potential and go on to succeed in their adult lives.
